We at Tattwa with an environmental protection strategy will address the issue of ecotourists removed from the cause-and-effect of their actions on the environment. With the confidence of ecotourists much initiative is taken to improve their awareness, sensitize them to environmental issues, and care about the places they visit.
There are several places throughout the world where the amount of natural resources are abundant. But, with human encroachment and habitats these resources are depleting. Without knowing the proper utilization of certain resources they are destroyed and floral and faunal species are becoming extinct.
While many protected areas have management plans, these plans often do not include measures that ensure tourism takes place in a sustainable manner. Therefore with the intention of safe guarding the environment for our future generations, we have worked with our partners and planned to utilize Natural resource management as a specialized tool for the development of ecotourism. As a part of this work, we produce training manuals and publications on ecotourism management about topics ranging from green-guidelines for tour operators to programs for monitoring tourism impacts. And we introduced several Ecotourism programmes with proper management for the conservation of these resources remains untouched.
